Invest in our work to expose underserved, low-income, as well as cultural, racial, and ethnically diverse populations to professional, high-level artistry in traditional West African Dance. You can help us inspire, connect, and invite audiences to experience traditional West African performing arts and African culture to build their sense of cultural appreciation and positive self-identity.
A donation of any size will help us:
- Offer scholarships to low-income and underserved youth participating in our Children’s and Teen Programs
- Offer school residencies, performances, and assemblies for K-12th grade students attending DC Public Schools
- Provide West African Dance classes for senior citizens, people with different abilities, and special populations in the District and surrounding areas
- Offer thriving wages to our dance artists and collaborators
- Provide opportunities for emerging dance artists to jumpstart their careers
- Present educational programs on the history, culture, dances, and rhythms of the Senegambia Region of West Africa
